Cacao-latte with coconut creamer - truly sugar free recipe

I am that rare bird who does not like coffee. Like at all. Also not in ice cream. Also not in chocolate and yes, also not Tiramisu.
But I do like a nice cup of something warm in the morning. For the longest time that has been tea.
I also really like hot chocolate. I used to drink my fair share of cocoa and sugar mixed into hot milk. Yum.
However, lately I have been trying to reduce sugar and dairy in my diet and came up with this guilt free - maybe even good for you - drink. I call it a Cacao-latte.
Quick, about the handmade cup. I make ceramics which you can read about over on A Home for Ceramics.
To a cup I add
1 tsp of mushroom cacao powder it is often out of stock, so keep an eye out.
1 tsp of cacao powder
1/16th tsp of monk fruit - the pure one without the erythritol - can be left out.
Then add boiling water
Then a splash of this sugar-free coconut creamer with adaptogens (I get it at my local co-op health food store). I get the powder when the other one is out of stock.
The froth appears by itself when adding the creamer. It has an earthy, mild, round flavor and it hits a spot that tea doesn't quite do.
Say hello to my little friend new morning brew. No sugar and with a side of adaptogens.
It is the perfect side kick to my Sunday brunch banana and blueberry omelet pancake.
